If your house is anything like my house, there are always craft projects in motion, child artists busy creating, and supplies everywhere. Like, everywhere. I once found a half-spilt container of googly eyes in my daughter’s underwear drawer and didn’t think anything of it. My kids have always been into creating. Perhaps it came naturally from being the byproduct of a scrapbooking mama or it was simply because the stuff existed within our home. Whatever the cause and reason, my daughters often close their eyes with colored pencils in their hands and fresh drawings on their pillows. I love the child artist in each of them!
Rainbow Paper
This is a gift that parents can also enjoy. There is something so intriguing about black paper that turns into rainbow colors when scratched. It comes in various shapes and sizes, but it is guaranteed fun for all. There are full-size options options to others with multiple stylus pens included. There are stocking stuff sizes and Doodle Pads.
Artist Sets
If you’re looking for an all inclusive set, there are many options. In fact, this is what Santa *might* or might not be bringing to one of my child artists this year. Shhhhhh.
Here are some of our favorite set ideas: Alex Toys Artist Studio, 142 Piece Wooden Set, Trifold Easel Set, Learn to Paint Set, Portable Art Set in Wooden Case
Paint-By-Number Kits
I have fond memories of doing my own sets of paint-by-number as a kid, but the child artist that comes out when I watch my kiddos do the same just fills my bucket! No matter what the interest or level, there is an option for everyone.
From painting fairy gardens to pencil coloring friendly animals, whether you are looking for sets for younger children or teenagers, order the supplies and watch the talent speak for itself. Melissa and Doug also has great options with their on-the-go kits, their wooden sets, and their sticker-by-number sets.
Art Easel Set
Art easels are to child artists and hot wheels are to kids who like speed. Again, I have memories of my own art easel as a child, and each of my kids gravitates towards one when we are out. Melissa & Doug have a Deluxe Art Easel or you can get a Table Top Easel for those who don’t want to take up prime realty on the floor. KidKraft also offers an easel in a beautiful espresso color. If you decide on an easel, don’t forget the Easel Accessory Pack to complete all your crafting dreams!
Anything Ooly
I honestly can’t say enough about Ooly. If you are looking for any kind of stocking stuffer, or looking for gift sets, Ooly products are truly the way to go. They have I also love the company because they support classrooms in need, and provide great ideas on their blog.
