Hello World… I am Mommy’s newest blogging inspiration!

Hello world!

My name is Gretchen Clarabelle Walker and I am 13 days old. According to my mommy, I’m adorably cute and she often uses words like “squishy” and “edible.” I even overheard her saying she could “eat me up” and I am trying to figure out how concerned I should be about this claim 🙂

I should probably preface this post with an apology. I have consumed much of my mommy’s life over the last 8 months and taken her away from her blog-o-sphere. Although she often thought about posting, I kept her busy with nausea at first, then made her extra tired so she didn’t have the energy to write. Not to mention our weekly appointments (sometimes bi-weekly) and our reoccuring trips to the hospital for observation. What can I say… They called me a “high risk pregnancy” from early on, which I took to mean “high profile baby on board.”

Now that I am out in the world, I am doing my best to keep her up – at all hours of the night – so she can get back to writing! You’re welcome.

Before I hand the blog back over to my mommy, how about a little on ME?? In addition to my really cute name – that my parents took a full 24 hours to come up with – I have really cute stats! I was born on 10/16 at 2:22pm. I weighed 7 pounds 3 oz (though I went on a bit of a diet since birth and am now down to 6 pounds 10 oz). I measured 19.5″ long and everyone says in addition to my long legs, I also have super long fingers and toes. I don’t know why this is important, but lots of people mention it.

Mommy will probably be writing a lot about me in the future… Hopefully all good things 🙂 Enjoy each and every story you read!
