I have teamed up with a wonderful team of bloggers who participate in “Five Minute Friday.” Here’s the skinny: Every Friday for nearly four years hundreds of people joined a kind of writing flash mob. We write for five minutes flat. All on the same prompt that is posted by the the team starting at 10pm EST on Thursday night and all through Friday. And we connect on Twitter with the hashtag #FMFParty (It stands for Five Minute Friday Party). No extreme editing; no worrying about perfect grammar, font, or punctuation. Unscripted. Unedited. Real.

My First FMF was created on time, but posted late because I forgot to push “edit.” Welcome to the world of April 🙂 The word was “CREATE”.

As a full time working teacher turned SAHM during the summer months, my entire “off time” is about CREATION. I CREATE an environment for my three young kids to thrive in. I CREATE a supportive household that encourages dancing and painting and cooking and laughter! I create a platform for uniqueness, because each of my kids is unique in his or her own way.

#1 child brings confidence in a world of deprecating judgement.

#2 brings a pure and innocent soul to an otherwise troubled world.

#3 brings a curiosity that peaks even the most settled in mind.

Most importantly, I create memories. For the generation that comes after my generation. Because I hope they will create more memories for the next in line.
